Who is Donna LaCroix Zitterbart?

Donna is a Master Cosmetologist and has been in the hair industry since 1996. She started her Cosmetology education in Winston-Salem, NC as a student at West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC. She attended the Cosmetology Program through the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School Systems Career Center. After her junior year in high school, she moved to Derry, PA for her senior year at Derry Area High School and attended the Eastern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center in Latrobe, PA. Upon graduating from high school, in 1998, she completed her remaining hours at Pennsylvania Academy of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences, becoming a Pivot Point Graduate. 

Donna currently holds active Cosmetology Licenses in Pennsylvania and Georgia as well as a Salon Business License in Georgia.

Donna has strong beautician genes in her immediate family. Her late Aunts Evelyn LaCroix Hirschberger and Charlene LaCroix Boyd of Lakewood, California were sisters and hairdressers. She also has a great Aunt, the late Pearl Craver from Winston-Salem, NC who was a beautician. 

From a young age, Donna always enjoyed being in salons. A family friend, Mrs. Baker, had a salon at her home and Donna always found herself in the shop asking questions. It was Donna's dream to become a beautician and own her own salon one day. Over 30 years later and that dream has come to fruition. Donna has found that standing behind the chair or sitting in the chair, as a client, always lends itself to learning so much about a person. It has opened doors to meeting people from all walks of life and realizing that no matter what differences we have we all have a common bond, our hair.

Born on an Air Force Base, Donna's dad and mom are Air Force Veterans, and her mother is a retired Police Officer.  Donna also was a 911 Operator in her early 20's. These connections have left a profound desire to give back to Active Duty Military and Veterans,   and First Responders. A Military/First Responder Discount is one way she can give back to this lifelong family. She also honors the dedication of her Cosmetology instructors by offering an educator discount.

Donna is a wife and mother to three wonderful children, Andrew, Ivan and Hannah. She is also mom to Magnolia Grace, her Cavachon puppy. 

Donna hopes her clients will find her salon studio to be a place they feel at ease and can take some time for themselves.
